1. What make your products different?
Our skincare is thoughtfully crafted using 100% natural, plant-based ingredients. We avoid synthetic chemicals, parabens, sulfates, and artificial fragrances, and each product is handmade in small batches in Canada. Before launching, we test our products on family and friends to ensure the best possible experience.
2. Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our formulas are designed to be gentle and chemical-free, making them suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and reactive skin.
3. Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Absolutely. All our products are vegan, cruelty-free, and never tested on animals.
4. What are the benefits of plant-based skincare?
Plant-based skincare is gentle on the skin, rich in natural antioxidants and nutrients, and helps support a healthy skin barrier. It is often suitable for sensitive skin and is a more sustainable, eco-conscious choice. However, some individuals may be unaware of allergies to certain natural ingredients, so we always recommend performing a small patch test before applying any product to the face.
5. Do you use artificial fragrances or preservatives?
No. We do not use artificial fragrances or synthetic preservatives. We use natural essential oils for a light scent in our skin butters and deodorants only. For select skincare products, we use natural preservatives such as Leucidal® SF Complete (a probiotic-based antimicrobial) and Dermosoft® ECO 1388 (a blend of plant-derived organic acids), which provide gentle yet effective protection.
6. What if I’m allergic to shea butter?
If you are allergic or sensitive to shea butter, The Essence for Sensitive Skin and the Revive Collection are formulated with mango butter instead. Mango butter offers similar rich moisturization while remaining gentle on the skin. As with any skincare product, we recommend performing a patch test before use.
7. Are your products eco-friendly?
Yes. Sustainability is at our core. We use recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable packaging and responsibly source our ingredients.
8. How should I store my skincare?
Store your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and use them within 8–12 months for best results.
9. What if I’m not completely satisfied with my purchase?
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you’re not happy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist with an exchange or refund.
